Urban Fishing Toronto
Once you know where to start, you will discover that the Toronto waterfront offers some of the best urban fishing experiences you will find anywhere. The diversity of the Toronto shoreline provides a range of fishing opportunities that can satisfy everyone, from the avid angler to the curious novice, or busy family. Some locations are perfect for a kid friendly pan fish expedition. Some for after work fishing sessions, straight from the office, and others offer spectacular night fishing. This app covers locations specifically within the Toronto waterfront area, from Ashbridges Bay Park on the Scarborough border in the east, across downtown to the mouth of the Humber, at the Etobicoke border in the West. All locations can be easily reached via public transport. Detailed coverage is given in particular to the Toronto Islands and Tommy Thompson Park.
Each location has its own detail page. The guide has a Google pin map with text descriptions, the text descriptions link directly to the corresponding page. The location detail pages are stored on the phone, and can be accessed through the menu system should you be in a location without internet, to access the Google map. The guide has an internal notepad for your own fishing notes.
